This album was created in my first recording studio in Largo, FL and features artists that frequented the studio who I greatly respected. Part of the reason the album is named Keep it in the Family is because some of my previous songs and concepts were redone for the album. The main reason, however, is that during the creation of this album I started a movement of underground artists beneath the Blind Alley umbrella, most of which still represent it to this day. The movement brought a familial unity across social boundaries and linked up talented artists who otherwise would never have met each other. Many of the Blind Alley artists are still working hard at their craft in Pinellas County and in other areas of the U.S. Following the closing of this studio, I used the same timber to build another booth in Clearwater, FL. The final two songs, "I Ain't Done Yet" and "Shark Out the Water" were recorded in the new studio. The full album download also includes bonus track 'No Name', a collaborative diss/beef track.
